The artistic and personal relationship between two great writers, which went beyond the superficial legend of their ‘great friendship’ to investigate the complex reality of a relationship made difficult at times due to differences of class and social origins, but which was nonetheless based on a sincere and mutual respect and admiration. The exhibition ran parallel with the ‘Donne di Giacomo’ exhibition presented by the City of Trieste and the Bottega Joyce.
